bob1 Nov 22, 2014 @ 8:36am. the .700 nitro shotgun will do the trick. it is made specifically for hunting the thick skinned animals. for me, it took 2 shots to kill a rhino with it. unfortunately you don't get the double skin bonus but it doesn't take long before more rhinos show up to avenge the 1st one you killed :-) #3.
The spear is the most satisfying weapon in the whole franchise imo. When thrown at least, it's pretty meh in melee. It's hard to pick a favourite but probably the spear (level 2 specifically), the longbow or the trap. But every weapon is useful in something and is cool to use.
You can buy it in the Ingatestone store with the 300 free far cry credits. Its an overclocked weapon, best for all purposes. It has two slots, an overclock slot and an MK 2 mod slot where you attach MK 2 mods (OP mods only for overclocked weapons). You can beat the entire game popping headshots with the MS16 L or S.
