The cheap RP with RF 24-105 F4L would give better IQ, albeit lacking in other things, AF, ISO, etc. At 80mm, the STM is already @F/7.1 aperture. I wasnβt sure what that meant, itβs nominally rated at 5stops, same as other canon full frame lens is eg RF 24-105, but the language of βfirstβ suggests itβs not in those previously launched.
