I recently purchased a Canon M6 Mark ii for my brother, since he's starting his own YouTube channel. After Googling and YouTubing, I couldn't find a good source of information for best video settings for the M6. Furthermore, I also bought him the Sigma 16mm f1.4 to help him achieve that "shallow depth of field" "bokeh" look. Absolutely. Lacking 1) a built-in flash and 2) a built-in radio transmitter (no DSLR has this as far as I know) the 6D has no way to trigger an external flash on it's own. An additional piece of equipment is required. With the 6D, you have the ability to shoot nearly silently. Both the Single shooting and Continuous shooting drive modes have special silent versions. To engage this setting, press the DRIVE button on the top of your camera and then rotate the Main dial to either the Single or Continuous icons that have an βSβ next to them.
